Corporate Connections Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage community and volunteer projects with company-wide impact, evaluating their implementation and success.
• Plan internal employee programs that promote good will and foster relationships with community leaders.
• Connect with key groups within the organization to assist with internal communications, ensuring message consistency and alignment.
• Support internal communications by creating, managing, and executing strategic internal communications projects.
• Work independently and within a team on ad-hoc reports/creative special projects and other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
• Work with Marketing to brand the message and culture of ImOn Communications.
• Plan the production and execution of employee events (Monthly/Annual Employee Meetings, Wellness events, Holiday Parties, etc), including content development, logistics, and call vendor management.
• Help develop online networking strategies and tools for employee engagement.
• Participate in establishing and promoting Worksite Wellness strategic goals and priorities in order to educate and engage employees in healthy lifestyle choices.
• Research solutions and ideas that will enhance the ImOn work environment.
• Prepare employee presentation materials and newsletters.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English or relevant field strongly desired.
• 3+ years prior internal communications, executive communications, or public relations experience preferred.
• Extremely polished writing skills are a must! ?Candidate must have strong knowledge in proper written English: grammar, punctuation, tone, etc.
• Able to interact with staff on all levels, remaining flexible resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Self-starter with minimal need for supervision. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is essential.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to consistently follow through and take ownership of concrete and abstract projects.
• Solid understanding and experience working with new forms of social networking outlets for both internal and external audiences.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong experience with Outlook Mail, Outlook Calendar, and mastery of MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; must be knowledgeable in utilizing various office equipment and technologies.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide leadership to others though example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
