Outbound Sales Representative

Duties & Responsibilities

Summary:
Position is responsible for selling residential services including cable TV, high-speed data internet, and telephone to prospective customers in an inside sales based selling environment. The Outbound Sales Representative is expected to cold-call and qualify prospects, build a robust pipeline, and close business.


Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Consult with residential clients regarding Internet, Voice and Cable TV needs and propose ImOn products and services as solutions.
• Strategically manage pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Update and maintain customer database to ensure customer’s orders are filled.
• Proactively work customer cancellations and serve as a winback champion.
• Present information regarding products, services, rates, installation fees, campaign requirements, and special offers in a clear, concise, accurate, and professional manner.
• Promote a positive company image at all times.
• Exceeding monthly quota objectives through outbound phone sales activities.
• Complete all necessary paperwork to support sales activities including sales orders and reports.

Other duties and responsibilities:
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications (Skills required):
• High School Diploma plus at least 2 years experience inbound or outbound sales.
• General knowledge of cable television, internet, and telephone services.
• General knowledge of direct sales and marketing principles and functions.
• Must have excellent communication skills as well as strong persuasive selling and closing ability.
• Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Ability to independently establish and achieve goals.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of personal computer operation and software applications (i.e.Microsoft Office).
• Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
