Warehouse Coordinator

Duties & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the ImOn Communications Warehouse. This position is also responsible for conducting and coordinating safety inspections on fleet vehicles.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Assisting with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to appropriate associates for processing.
• Reading customer orders, work orders, or shipping orders to determine items to be picked, packed, checked and shipped.
• Assigning SKU labels to new inbound items and moving items from receiving to storage areas.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for ImOn employees and customer traffic.
• Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets.
• Labeling outbound orders with system-generated shipment labels.
• Maintaining a clean, well-organized, safe working environment.
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Conducting ongoing safety inspections of facility and equipment ensuring compliance and a safe working environment for all ImOn employees.
• Monitoring safety regulations and reporting violations to supervisors.
• Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications (Skills required):
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in Health and Safety strongly desired.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and ability to operate a fork-lift.
• Experience in developing and administering Safety & Health programs a plus.
• First-Aid and CPR certification strongly encouraged. EMT a plus.
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills and ability to work with limited supervision.
