Important Information Regarding the Transition to Digital Television

We continue to hear from our customers regarding the upcoming transition to digital television. It is our goal to help our customers understand what this change means to them.

Effective February 17, 2009, an FCC mandate will require all TV stations to begin broadcasting their over-the-air programming in digital format. TV stations will cease the broadcast of their programming in analog format. Television sets with only an analog broadcast receiver will require a converter box to receive over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna.

The good news for ImOn Communications cable TV customers is that we have invested in digital conversion equipment and will handle this conversion for you.

If you are an ImOn cable TV customer, you will not need to do anything to your analog-only TV in order to continue to receive programming after February 17, 2009 if it is connected to ImOn cable service. You do not need to purchase additional equipment.
