ImOn Telephone FAQ

Q: What are my ImOn Long Distance options?

A: ImOn offers $0.05 cent per minute AND $0.07cent per minute long distance calling plans. With our $0.05 Plan call anytime of day, to anywhere in the continental United States for only $0.05 per minute and a low $5.95 fee per month. Calls to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are only $0.12 per minute!

For no monthly fee, call as much as you like at a rate of only $0.07 per minute, anytime of day to anywhere in the continental United States. Calls to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are only $0.12 per minute!

Please note ImOn local service is required to sign up for the $0.05 per minute or $0.07 per minute long distance plans.

Q. If I switch to ImOn, can I keep my existing phone number?

A. Yes. If you have a local telephone number, you will be able to retain that number with ImOn.

Q. How do make a Long Distance call?

A. Simply pick up the phone and dial one plus the 10 digit phone number you are calling. The ImOn network will connect the call to the dialed party.

Q. How can I confirm that I am on the ImOn network?

A. To confirm you are on the ImOn network dial 1-700-441-1212 from your home telephone. You will receive a recording stating "Your long distance provider is ImOn."


Q. Does ImOn offer Toll Free service?

A. Yes. A toll free number makes it easy for family or business associates to stay in touch - and you pay competitive long distance rates. A one-time Call 319-298-6484 for more information or to sign up for these long distance options.

Q. Do you charge installation fees?

A. No. There are no installation fees to install your ImOn local or long distance services.

Q. What options are available with ImOn Local Voice services?

A. Your monthly voice service includes a local phone line with dependable standard local dial-tone and touch-tone service. You now have your choice of three local packages, offering up to 11 custom-calling features like Call Forwarding, Call Transfer, Caller ID, Basic Voice Mail and others.

Q. Do you offer a Wire Care option?

A. Yes. Wire Care can protect you from charges associated with routine testing and diagnostic work on your phone line and repair or replacement of standard wiring and jacks. A. As a residential customer, you can add additional directory listing options to your local service for a nominal monthly recurring charge. These options include:

Troubleshooting/Customer Support

Q. I do not have dial tone. How long will this take to be fixed?

Please call ImOn customer service at 319-298-6484 immediately. Once the trouble is reported and necessary information obtained you will receive a call back within 24 hours with an update. Normal timeframe to resolve no dial tone issues is 24 hours.

Q: Who do I call if I have questions not answered in the above section?
