Back to News

Clinton, Iowa, and Camanche, Iowa, are now Fiber-Connected Communities following the completion of ImOn’s 100% fiber Internet network in the area.

The completed network delivers fiber-to-the-home and fiber-to-the-business Internet service to more than 10,000 addresses in Clinton and 2,000 addresses in Camanche, providing ultra-reliable service and speeds up to 1 Gbps for homes and 10 Gbps for businesses.

“Fiber Internet is the only type of Internet that can keep up with the digital demands of modern homes and businesses, and now fiber Internet service is widely available in these two communities for the first time,” said ImOn President and CEO Patrice Carroll. “We look forward to connecting the people of Clinton and Camanche for years to come.”

Working in partnership with city leaders from both communities, ImOn began network construction in Camanche in late 2024 and connected the first customer in December of that year. Construction began in Clinton in early 2025. The first customer was installed in June, and construction officially wrapped up in December.

ImOn also serves six other metro areas across three states: Cedar Rapids metro, Iowa City metro, Dubuque metro, Sioux City metro (Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota), Marshalltown, and many rural communities across Southeast Iowa.
